Vanderpump Rules will be back with some new cast members. Fans will soon see how things will change because of that.
There will also be another big change. Randall Emmett will be on the show more this season, which makes sense given his wedding with Lala Kent is getting closer. Find out what the couple said will be shown and more about their future plans.
Randall Emmett previously refused to appear on ‘Vanderpump Rules’
Kent previously kept her relationship with Emmett a secret, but her co-stars still tried to figure out who she was dating. They later became official and he started hanging out with the cast. He still didn’t seem open to filming.
Scheana Shay claimed it’ll never happen. “Never. No,” she told US Weekly. “He’s one of our favorite people to hang out with. He’s so much fun, such a great personality, absolutely obsessed with her. They are a very good match.”
He then seemed to be warming up to the camera. He appeared on Flipping Out with Kent because he was remodeling his home.
Lala Kent is busy planning their wedding
The couple has been engaged for some time now. The future bride recently talked about being stressed about the whole process.
“I’m ripping my hair out already, and we’re five months out,” Kent told E! News. “But you know what, I’m so excited, because at the end of the day, everyone has told me don’t get so caught up in the wedding planning that you can’t enjoy the process of you becoming a family.”
The reality star said she doesn’t actually want everything to be filmed for Vanderpump Rules. “I just want it to be my day,” she explained. “There are things I don’t want to talk about. I know people say, ‘You signed up for this, to show your life.’ But there are things that I really don’t talk about, so I don’t want to be forced to talk about them just because it’s on camera.”
Of course, some of the wedding will be filmed. Some of the cast members including Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney and Brittany Cartwright will be her bridesmaids.
They want to show who they are to fans
This season is going to be different because Emmett will be filming more. Kent basically asked him to try it.
“For three years, obviously she wanted to show that part of her life,” he told E! News. “And this last season, she just said, ‘Look, why don’t we just try it out? It’ll show that people don’t know how we really are.’ We’re goofy, nerdy.”
He continued, “We sit at home. She watches Friends all day. I’m on my phone playing poker. I mean we’re not super exciting people and so she’s like let’s just do that.” The producer added, “I think people will then get to see who we really are… I’ll tell you, you see a lot of fun. You will see how we are.”
Of course, you can expect some drama too. Kent said fans will watch “little tiffs” between them. The new season of Vanderpump Rules starts on Jan. 7 at 9/8 CDT on Bravo.
