Step aside, Kim K. This year’s edition of Paper’s “Break The Internet” cover story is none other than the globetrotting, record-breaking South Korean septet BTS.

The group’s members appear on the cover of the newly unveiled edition of Paper, featured alongside Lisa Frank artwork in a series of vibrant, bubbly photos. Throughout a series of features, each of the members discuss their career, their loyal fan ARMY, and their relationship with one another.

“Seven men with different values living together was not easy,” says Suga in the piece. “It was difficult for all of us to focus our thoughts on one single point, but looking back, they are all good memories.”

“There was a time when we fought each other quite a bit because we all came from different backgrounds and our personalities were so different,” J-Hope says. “But we were able to overcome that after frequently talking to each other and living together for a long time. We now know what each of us are thinking just by looking at each other.”

Throughout the magazine, the Billboard 200 chart-toppers also talk their challenges and pressures, as well as what they like the most about other members, such as Jimin saying that he admires J-Hope’s “smiley face,” which he also describes as being “adorable.”

Along with BTS, Paper also spoke with Steve Aoki. “There hasn’t been a more prolific phenomenon since the Beatles,” says Aoki, a frequent collaborator of BTS. “For us Asians, this is our generation’s Bruce Lee — putting Asian faces once again in a powerful image.”
